It is time for giving .... Every year the Peninsula Golf Club 18 Holers sponsor the Rally for the Cure Golf event.. rallyforthecure.com. This year was another successful year raising over $12,000.00 plus all the women enjoying the golf and hosting spouses and guests at a party following the golfing.
Caring Hearts is a local charitable organization for women helping community people with immediate needs. Every fall this event is hosted by a local Lake Norman resident to raise bags of groceries for the Ada Jenkins organization and diapers for the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Annual Bag Lady Tea ... over 250 bags of groceries and diapers were collected at this annual tea. Great way to meet your neighbors while helping other neighbors.
